Practical Learning and Applied Research in a Historic Field-Based Setting

The Hannin Creek Education and Applied Research Centre is a unique multi-use, year-round educational facility that provides applied learning and applied research opportunities in engineering, environmental sciences and natural resources programs in northern Saskatchewan.

For over 40 years, the Hannin Creek Centre has offered an exceptional educational experience for students providing practical learning opportunities.

A new Multipurpose Education Centre and Lab is needed to further enhance the applied research and learning capacity providing learners and users with:

• Industry-relevant research and training opportunities
• The ability to expand education programs and applied research capabilities
• Excellence in program delivery and research by focusing on topics relevant to northern and remote climates, environmental conservation and development of green technologies

Support is needed to purchase equipment to outfit the Centre and Lab to ensure students have access to and are learning on the most current technologies and equipment.
