Get in the KNOW!

The third annual Saskatchewan Polytechnic Knowledge and Networking Opportunities for the Workplace (KNOW) Conference presented by Graham was a huge success. The conference brought together industry experts, alumni, and staff dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to learn a variety of essential skills to help them along their career journey. The KNOW Conference highlighted the importance of networking in the spirit of miyo wahkohtowin, the Cree term for “good relations.”

This year the KNOW Conference shifted from online to an in-person event. The conference was held at each Sask Polytech campus location where students, alumni and industry partners were invited to these events to connect while developing valuable networking skills.

The biggest takeaway for the students who took part in this year’s KNOW conference is the relationships established with industry professionals, Sask Polytech alumni and fellow students.

The students also gained important communication and networking skills they will utilize in their job search and career success after graduation.

"KNOW 2023 was a wonderful platform to get me started with the real-world workplace networking opportunities. This has helped me network with the professionals during the recent Career Fair at Saskatchewan Polytechnic." ~ Varsha B., Technology Management (Regina campus)

"When top tier public speaking and the chance to network meet up, you KNOW it's going to be a good time." ~ Adam G., Environmental Engineering Technology (Moose Jaw campus)
