Sask Polytech students in 18 programs learn to handle stressful situation in our campus Simulation Centres. The hands-on training in a realistic environment gives them the skills and confidence to handle the real-life situation they will face.

“Before I ever had to make clinical care decisions for a real baby, I was able to practice on a high-tech pediatric mannequin—a “SIM baby”—in the Simulation Center at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. I learned so many necessary skills. More than that, I gained confidence. Now I know I’m prepared for the real thing, for the real babies who need my help.”

But this highly-specialized technology is very expensive and urgently needed.

Your donation toward a new SIM baby will help prepare today’s students—tomorrow’s health care workers—to tackle real-life pediatric emergencies.
